Off the Wall: A new web series

I have recently produced and directed a video series for Telefilm Canada, called “Off the Wall.” The series features quirky and–well, off-the-wall–interviews with Canadian talent, filmed in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. Here are the ones released so far:

Ever wonder what Academy Award nominated filmmaker Deepa Mehta (Water, Midnight’s Children) would do with a billion dollars? Or what she thinks of fuzzy peaches?  Then visit her “Off the Wall” interview on YouTube.

In yet another installment self-professed micro-budget filmmaker Ingrid Veninger (“Modra,” “i am a good person/i am a bad person”) talks about billion dollar budgets, superheroes and Burning Man.If you know French, you can hear Guy Édoin (“Marécages/Wetlands”) talk about villains, time machines, and even Tom Cruise. If you don’t, you can read the subtitles. Dans série d’entrevues Talent mur à mur.

In the forth installment of Telefilm’s “Off the Wall,” Jason Eisener (director of “Hobo with a Shotgun”) talks about blood, guilty pleasures, robots, dinosaurs, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles — and filmmaking.
